Prolem recognising a database

OK here's the problem, I have an Access database the ODBC is set-up correctly but when I use the modify>connection> and setup the database I keep getting the following error message dialouge box when I test it.

Unknown error 0x800A0E7A

ADO could not find the specified provider.

Am I just being stupid (more than likely) or am I missing something vital out. Any help would be appreciated

I assume you have it set up via DSN. WHy not try a DSN-less connection and see what happens? Steve Davis
