Project sub-item permissions?

Hi all,

I notice when I add Coordinators to Projects, it doesn't mean they will be able to view/edit any of the sub-items in the Project. This means I have to add them to the Project as a Coordinator, then go to Permissions for each folder within the Project and add them before they are able to see/edit the contents. Is there a more efficient way of doing this through the normal user interface?
