Hi
I'm looking for the best or a workable strategy for using
SourceSafe in the following situation:
We have a product that has a base architecture (Class library) considing of COM objects, ASP pages, XSL and XML templates. Off this are a number of sub products are developed that combine into a single product (a web site) at a release. The problem is that development and bug fixes happen at the same time on all the subproducts. The bug fixes are applied to a baselined release and then have to be consider and if necessary reapplied in development from the pinned and labelled release. The reason for this is that the bug fixes must be applied to the release so that it clears the web site problems asap.
Thanks in Advance
