Project recovery on Project Server

Hello all,

I was wondering if there was a way to recover / restore a project on Project server, not using the Administrator Restore in the server settings. That is, is there a way to restore the project using a system or tape backup. I'm afraid that the projects on Project server are stored in DB format, making indivdual recovery not all that possible. I'm not all that skilled with Project, so bare with me if this is a dumb question. Thanks for the help
