Project Query Question

I have a database which lists projects that I enter and maintain. Every time that I open the access file, I have a drop down menu which lists all of my projects added into my database. Every once and a while, I finish a project and add a check mark in a "completed" box. Now I would like that since that box is checked, I would like it not to appear in my drop down list and only have "active" projects show up. Can anyone help me?

Assuming the drop-down you refer to is a combo-box on a form, then change the combo-box's row source to a SELECT YourFieldHere FROM YourTableName WHERE CheckBoxField=0 or something like that.

I tried it and it does not work. It only asks me when wanting to select my projects to enter 0 to view them. Once the list is full, it is the same as before. Without the changes that you sent me, it is as it was before.

Etienne - more information is needed. Copy and paste the current row source of your combo box - and provide the name of the field that is the checkbox, and the data type. Given that info it might be easier to help - but it will be some variation of the previous answer.

The where clause is most likely to be WHERE CheckBoxField = -1 though rather than a 0. (You could also type WHERE CheckboxField = true.
