Progressive video keeps playing when I click to another page

Basically I have a video clip in a page on the site. When I click off to another page the audio keeps playing from the stream. How do I stop the video or audio or whichever is still playing when I go to another page? I would have thought it would have been unloaded with the rest of the page. I'm using LoadmovieNum to put a movie on a specific level and replace the movie previously on that level on the site for our pages.

That would be great... but I can't put unloadMovieNum() on every button the user could possibly press to leave the page... is there a way to set it up so that when the main movie (.swf) is replaced by a new one it runs the unloadMovieNum() and unloads the .flv progressive downloading video? I can't think of anything. All my other movies unload with the main movie when you click away from the main page but this is different since it's a stream (progressive DL of a .flv)

Streaming FLV cannot be stopped once started. Therefore unless you can somehow unload it using the methods I mentioned or pause the streaming or set the volume to 0 or start streaming dummy FLV with no sound, etc etc, before leaving the page, the sound will continue - that's my understanding.

(I suppose you can solve that with Flash Comm Server, but that's not an option for you I'd think.)

Instead of loadMovieNum to a level, you may try loadMovie to a depth (in _level0). This may help, as the new SWF in the new page may kill off the FLV streaming at _level0.
