Is there a 3rd party progress bar for print spooling out there?
When I send a print to the networked printer (engraver), I need to know when the engraver recieves the file to be printed. Now I walk over to the engraver and wait for the file to show up on the display screen on the engraver so I can press start to engrave what I need. Sometimes the file takes up to 30 minutes, sometimes seconds.
I send mupltiple pages to the engraver and wait for the first page to be displayed so I can start it.
This is why a progress bar to the engraver would be nice.
Anyone know of such a addon?

Thank you,
Craig

If you Start, Printers and Faxes, and drag the printer onto the desktop, you can then double click to open the printer status window.

This will show you your document print queue for the printer, and when the document finishes as "printed" the engraver should have received the entire print job.

You might enable notifications for remote print jobs: Start, Printers and Faxes, File, Server properties, Advanced. You have several notification options you can enable.

Is it possible to see when the first page of the document has been sent to the engraver?

Thank you,
Craig
