Programs Run in Safe Mode only, but not in Normal

My Server has suddenly started only running programs in Safe Mode. Any idea how I can stop this from happening and get it back to normal. I haven't installed any new software, and a virus check has come up clean.

check the logs file (system and application).If everything normal then you have to repair the installation.The repair will keep your current settings.Insert the cd and follow the instruction.Setup will find out the currently installed o/s and give you the option of new installation or repair .Hope that works for you.It did for me.Another way of doing the repair is to use recovery console.You have to install the recovery console from the 2000 cd.

Some people have been having problems with McAfee anti-virus, if it is on your system try removing it first....
