Hello, I need some help. The Nortel switch I received was programmed for a pri. This is a new install at a bank and we were told the pri would not be in for another week. I have purchased two universal trunk cards and tried to program them to the switch. I have tried to build a RDB & TDB but I can’t call out or no ringing comes in, I have dial tone at the card. I searched the form on how to build a RDB(LD 16) and a TDB(LD 14). Am I missing something? Could someone give me an example of a loop start trunk ( I have 9 analog lines) ringing to a group of phones that also have access to these lines. This would save my butt. Thankyou to anyone who replies

I don't have a printer hooked up to the switch. Any ideas?
Thanks

you didnt mention if these were DID. You are sure they are loop start?

Do you have a modem for outside access? If so dial into it with hyperterminal or procomm and post what you have programmed. If it was already programmed to go out this pri route then that is where it is trying to go.

if you put a butt set on the demark, doyou get dial tone? if so they are loop start
