I have a customer that is struggling to program speed dial (DSS) buttons. She is actually adding both DSS buttons and regular outgoing speed dial buttons and is getting the message "Unable to save changes" when she attempts to save the changes.

She can dial all these from the phone directly without using a speed dial and it doesn't matter whether she is logged into to the phone as user or is in netset as an administrator.

System is NBX V5000. Not sure of software level.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Sheldoom

A little late in this response, but I was browsing threads.
Could you have the user log into NetSet with administrator rights, go to button mapping on telephone, changes desired autodial/speed dial key to another feature, say Release. Save that change, then have her go back and change button to desired speed call?

I ran into this issue with Attendant Consoles. If you programmed a Line/Ext key with an invalid extension, saved changes, the key would no take another valid extension.

By this time, you may have already deleted the phone, and rebuilt it, but this is worth a shot.

Limit,

Thanks for the reply, but it did already delete and re-add the telephone to fix this problem. Sheldoom.
