I recently re-assigned lines and trunks via remote access. Now on one of the extensions, for incoming calls the user could pick up the handset and the caller was on the line. Now when they pick up they have to press the line button where the call is coming in on. Also when the phone is sitting idle their intercom button LED is not lit. I tried several things but nothing seems to work.

Sounds like ringing/idle line prefence was turned off for some reason. At that extension, dial feature 00 if it is a Partner or MLX phone, or pick up the handset and dial #00 if it is a TDL phone. Then press the SA ring button, then dial *343. This will turn on ringing/idle line prefence. Hope this helps.
