Hi All,
We have a Nortel Norstar Modular Plus phone system. Please excuse my lack of knowledge with this subject - I work exclusively in the IT Team and was asked to take on the phone system a while back without training. If any of this is set up incorrectly please let me know of best practice to resolve it if you think it would be beneficial.
We have a hunt group with 4 extensions included for the purpose of an IT Helpdesk phone line and we want to have this hunt group forward to a voice message out of hours informing them that of the opening hours. This is extension 4120.
We have an Automated Attendant already setup on the main extension, which operates as a reception. This is operating a menu system for callers and out of hours messages already.
This is extension 4100.
I tried to figure out how to set up a second AA for our Hunt Group but failed miserably, far too confusing to just jump in the deep end.
We also thought about having another extension setup, forwarded to voice mail. Put that in the hunt group and assign it a ringing service schedule so it's only active out of hours..
Please help us as we are soooo confused, BT weren't much help when we phoned
