to start off I have a NEAX 2000IPS and AD-64

I read the thread named "MatWorx and DSS Console" which asked how to program A DSS Console using Matworx. There was a response which was mostly understandable by me except for a few things here are are the instructions they listed. Which I understand can be done from Matworx or a handset.

Transfer + Conf + * + Transfer + conf + # + redial + 97 + Recall + 00 (console number) + Transfer + 57(DSS key console number) + Recall + 2166 (ext#) + Conf

The things I did not understand were the console number and the dss key number. I am guessing that these are numbers specific to my configuration. How would I find out what they are? The 60 button DSS is linked with the receptionist's Phone (ext. 100) This help would be greatly appreciated.

The first command you want is 96, it tells you which console is assigned. Then step thru the first data starting at 00. Your second data is what extension the DSS is attached to (you should see 100 for your receptionist). Remember which two number are displayed for 100, then in 97 those two numbers get inserted into the command for the console number, and then the button numbers are labeled from 00 to 59.

trans, conf, *, trans, conf, #, 96, recall, 00, recall, speaker (until you see 100 or data error), redial, 97, recall, XX (number from 96), trans, 00 (thru 59 depending on which button you want to assign), recall, XXXX (extension you want to be assigned), conf (should see OK).
