Programming Buttons on Norstar 1

Hello,

I recently took over a Norstar Compact ICS system and am trying to get a handle on the basics. The other day, I noticed a phone that was supposed to pick up line 3 and line 4 with buttons 3 & 4. Instead, they were programmed with feature codes. I discovered how to clear the features from these buttons, and how to add either telephone #s or features to these buttons, but how do I make them pick up specific lines?

It`s not as simple as programming features or ext`s but here goes. Enter Feature **config with password config. It will come up Terminals and Sets. Press Show (see below) and enter the ext. Press show again and it will come up Line Access. Show that and enter 003. It will come up unassigned, so change that to Appear and Ring, Appear Only, or Ring Only, depending on what you want. After changing it to what you want press next and it will take you to line 4.

In programming mode, 4 buttons (3 at first until you enter a topic) will light up. They represent the following. Use them to follow my steps.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't have the same options as you, it would appear. I can go to Terminals & Sets and show the appropriate extension, but the only options I have are:
Capabilities
Name
User preferences
Restrictions
Telco Features

None of which (according to the manual and my moderately extensive search) have Line Access as a sub option.

Any other ideas?

Sorry, you were right, I just had to login with the System Coordinator "Plus" password.
