Hello....this is my first post, this looks like a great forum of information. I have a Merlin Magix system. I am having an issue getting the red/green LEDs next to the programmable buttons to light up, I have already ran the test to ensure they work. The phone in question is a 4424D+. I have programmed the last bank of 6 for various staff extensions. When I press the button, the phone calls the proper extension but the light does not light up. Does anyone have any ideas for what I could be missing? Thanks in advance for your help!

An "auto-dial" button does not use any lights when you press it to dial an extension. However, if you go to one of the programmed autodial button extensions and lift the receiver off hook - when you go back to your phone - the light by the autodial button for that phone will be lit - indicating the phone is "in use". If that extension puts a call on hold - the autodial light will flash. So the red light by the autodial button tells you whether or not that extension is in use.

There are other features that you can program that will light the "green" light by the button to indicate that the feature is actived. When you press the button again - the light will turn off - - to indicate that the feature is not active.
