Is there a way to have the system set up the way that when an incoming call gets routed to a hunt group and none of the members pickup the call, to then the caller listen to a general greeting and have him/her leave a voice message which will be distributed to all the members in the same hunt group. By the way all the memebers in the hunt group have their own personal mailboxes setup on their existing extensions.

Please help, Thanks

What you can do is set up hunt group 707, then build mailbox 707 and assign it to extension 707. Set the overflow station to be the first port of the voicemail.

Then you can remote msg notify one of the extensions. Unfortunately you are only going to be able to notify the one extension but it would be a general group box. For that matter you could have it notify a ringer set up on an ATA, make the ATA and the members of the hunt in the same pick up group. When the voicemail calls the noftifying station (ringer on the ATA) the ringer will ring, whatever member is available can do a pick up off the ATA and pull the call to them, enter the group mailbox 707 password and retrieve the message.

Just an idea.... MRoberts
