Hi All,

Not sure if anyone has noticed an icon appear in their control pannel called Program Updates which looks like a water splash on a blue background?

I have had a customer complain that phonemanager seems to be requesting updates from the web every 15mins and he'd noticed this icon on his control pannel since installing PMpro 3.2+

I myself am running PMPro v4.0 and have also seen this icon on my laptop but there are no properties to the icon and you can't open it or uninstall!?

Does anyone have any ideas if this is definately related to IPoffice and or PM? And if so how to disable etc?

Cheers

That program is the InstallShield Update Manager and looks for updates for programs compatible with it.

I don't have it looking for PhoneManager updates.

You can change the settings for how often it looks for updates from every day och every month or not at all.

Thanks for that - how do you change these settings though?

I can't seem to open it or configure anything?

When does it get installed?

Cheers

Macrovision seems to be responsible for the program so guess it came with some flash installation.

Looking on another computer it wanted to update PhoneManager and Softconsole.

After while, or maybe because I started clicking every on it, I could change the update settings.
