I have an option 81c,with call pilot voice mail . Currently, all calls to the main number are answered by the console operator. We want to put a 15 second message to be heard by all callers before going to the operator. Like, Thanks for calling XXX, for operator, stay on the line or press 0. Is this possible, if so, how can it be done?

Well, I think you mean you only want calls to the main number to hear that. Not internal callers that dial zero, or recalls, or people that zero out of mailboxes, etc.

So, you have to set the DN your main callers come in on as a number that points to CallPilup, plays the message, then reverts to whatever number your console is, i.e extn zero.

So the answer is yes it can be done - quite easily. the only consideration is - do you have enough voice mail ports to handle those additional calls, even as short as they are.
