Program Defaults do not hold on program shutdown 1

I upgraded from 5 to 9 some months ago. Now, every time I close the program, it dumps any changes that I have made, even default settings. It will not hold changes to macros, file locations, and even shows the startup screen each time, although each time I check "don't show this screen again". Has anyone else experienced this problem with FoxPro 9? Any tips or hints? Thanks, ritasinger

Most of the settings you mentioned are stored in the registry. Have you got any software installed that prevents changes to the registry, such as an anti-spyware utility?

Some settings are also stored in the Foxuser resource files. Have you got RESOURCE = OFF in your config.fpw, or are your Foxuser files read-only?
