program crash at starting

OP: WIN98SE, Everytime when I start Foxpro 2.6 for windows, it crashes and telling that "An error occured in your program.... Click Ignore to continue ..."

Back up as necessary; Uninstall the program then re-install it. Emachines, Celeron 600, 256 Mb RAM, 10 Gb HDD, ADSL.

That version I believe is pretty old. Microsoft has the FoxPro Beta 8 avalible for download and the current version is 7. Try troubleshooting the problem with a better program than DrWatson. Also FoxPro 2.5 is a DOS Program Stop it from starting up at the boot. Check your System Configuration Utility located under System Tools/Tools/System Configuration Utility. Check your Config sys tab and the Startup Tab. If there take the check mark out of the check box and reboot. If all else fails remove the program.
