I am new to merlin legend and need to add a Park zone button on a QCC console DSS, so that the operator can park an incoming call, page the needed person.

My best suggestion is to renumber the park zones, 881-888 to something in the dialplan. then just renumber one of the pages on the dss to reflect that ext range.

The DSS can not be programmed with features. It's a direct station select or busy lamp field set.

say for instance you make the third page of the dss reflect numbers 850 to 899, then you would see 881-888 within that group. all you do is take incoming caller and tell them hold on, then just press one of the park zone buttons. this put them into that park orbit and you can page someone saying you have a call on 881 or 882 .... they in turn just go to any phone and dial #9 and the park zone 881 or 882.... to pick up the call.
