Program 9670 with company logo

We are on CM5.2 and have successfully installed several 9640 phones where the company logo pops up as a screen saver. I am not successful having the 9670 phones do that. I also am having problems with putting 9670 as the set type.
Any suggestions. I purchased the 9670 for our Sr.Exec and now can't produce the company logo.

Are you using the same xx.settings file for both models? What type of trouble are you having setting the model type? With IP Phones, you have to busyout the station, release it and immediately change station to modify the set type...or at least that is what I have had to do. I don't even see 9670 listed as an option in CM5.2.

Yes I am using the same 46xx file that I use on the 9640's that is successful. I know that 9670 is not listed as an option in the model type so I was wondering if that was the problem???

If you want to have 9670 listed as an station option then make alias for it:

change alias station Page 1 of 1
ALIAS STATION


Alias Set Type Supported Set Type

9670 9650

9640 & 9670 are using same logo file specified in 46xxsettings.txt. It has nothing to do with station type in CM.

which is capable carrying user profile, contacts and digital pictures (.jpg).
