PROFTP 1.2.9

I have installed proftpd 1.2.9 on my machine. I have a very basic conf file set up, to allow anonymous user access.

Is there a way of specifying more than one directory into which an anonymous user can cd to. I want the user to cd ONLY to the directories specified and nothing else.

You could build subordinate directories to the directory into which the ftper lands.

I assume the user will key the cd command, and know which one to go to.

These directories could be links to other directories in other places.

I seem to recall having problems with ProFTP and directories that are symbolic links. I seem to recall that I had to use mount --bind instead.

I don't think building sub-directories is the best solution. I was looking into the CDPath parameter, which allows you to define directory paths, which a user can cd to. However, I cannot get the syntax to work properly, and the examples are not very good. Do you know if you've come across this parameter before?
