im dealing with a w2k server, Terminal server, with Citrix 1.8 installed. in order to run a certian application i need every user to have a copy of an .ini file in their profile. this way the app can be customized per user needs. where do i put a generic copy of these .ini files so that when a user logs in for the first time they get a copy in their profile. The problem im running into now, is that the rest of the network is using roaming profiles, and for this server i want to disable roaming profiles. So far i have tried adding the .ini files to the new server under the "default user" profile and that doesn't seem to work. I have also tried several scenerios using the "terminal services profile" tab of user properties in AD. Still nothing!

thanks in advance
Aaron

i have tried the all users, and it does not work either. i think because all users have roaming profiles, a new profile is not created on this server, hence the all users and default users will not work. just a guess??? i think i will just copy the old directory's to the new server and point them to each user's Term Serv home dir . then once a user logs in i will just change the profile to local on the new server.
