Hello,
I have a customer using Pro Call recorder on a BCM 450 Rel 5.When he uses the Feature 996 to stop the recording it continues to record..He has the Manuel recording Rule set to stop and abort but it still contiues to record the entire conversation..Any thought
Thanks

Sounds like an integration issue with the Pro Call Recorder. Call the company that makes the software and you may get a better response.

It's a Nortel software feature that is on the BCM and it sends the file to a server..

I have a question about call recorder. If we buy 1 port, does that mean only one agent can record at a time. If the 1 agent records a call to the server and hangs up... will the port be available for another user on the system?

We have 4 agents but rarely get a call that needs recorded. I uggested we buy two ports but they want to buy only 1 if it will work for all 4 agents. (only one at a time).

Any one know it 1 will work for 4 users/agents?

Hi

manual start and stop recording is not supported on analogue sets, so assuming they are not using analogue sets (flash hook for feature), recommend you take a backup and apply BCM450.R500.SU.System-008.201012-1.

regards
paul
