I've installed my copy of Office 2003 several times over the years, however this time, the key is coming up invalid. I've tried it countless times. What can this be? It may be possible that 2 versions of Office are on this computer, but not sure how to determine this.

Are you saying that you can't install it, or that you can't activate it?

If you can't activate it, it may be that Microsoft has decided recently that the key is invalid, in which case one must ask where you got the product from.

If you can't install it, is it an OEM version (supplied with the computer)? And if so, are you using the same computer without any hardware changes?

If you already have another copy of Office 2003 on the machine, it may cause a problem, but if you only have other versions of Office that should not cause a problem with the key. That you don't know what is on the machine, however, makes me suspicious as to what exactly you are trying to do and whether or not it is within the terms of the licence.

Enjoy,
Tony

Activate. I discovered that there were in fact two copies on the pc and the key worked as it should with the original copy I had installed. Cheers.
