4.8 will work with XP, but I've noticed that my connection directory got corruption when I made a change to it. It may have just been a "one off" problem. Otherwise it's excellent to use.

i've had that problem with the dir on other versions, now i save a .dir on a share drive.. those along with my (stolen) was files. i've never lost one due to a system error, but have started with a perfect script, made a dozen changes and did a compile, of course it didn't compile but did a save to erase the original. strange how computors seem to mess up when they do exactly what you requested.

I used either 3.0 or 3.1 without too much trouble on XP. Just had to program the F5 key to use with Meridian Mail

I have a question along this line, can you connect with Procomm Plus through your PC using the Option 11C IP? if so, how do I set that up?

Are you refering to using Procomm via the Rlogin protocal?. Rlogin is not available with Procomm.
