Procomm over Null-Modem to Option11c

Hi,
I need to connect to an Option11c switch via Procomm over null-modem. I am using the Host script found in Procomm. It seems to connect but all I get in Procomm is line garbage.
Any ideas?

Sounds like it might be speed, parity or stop bit. Try 2400/8/None/1 !

That's what I have it set to.

Check the DIP-switches on the Core-card (slot 0) they set the speed on TTY-port 0.
Try connecting your Procomm-PC to port-0 using the speed set with the DIP-switches.
You can also use Windows Hyperterminal.

for a direct connect don't use Host script, unred the view tab check status line and quick select line, use vt 320, or ansi bbs as term type. 8 n 1 and port speed to the switch setting on the scc, port 0 on the three port cable, your getting garbage because the script is bypassing the settings you've chosen. if that don't clear it up repost with symptoms and we'll think some more

Opt11's are VT220, N81, Port 0 baud speed is set by the dip switches on the SSC faceplate & the rest by s/w in LD17. I've found that S72 in Procomm seems to talk to just about anything

i dial into opt 11's daily, using ansi bbs, and atdt 9 xxxx or exten numbers, 8n1, my script files dial the switch, lcnt, ldis and gives me a report when i have time to open it. i do know most of the vt emmumlations will work, but so will others. this switchroom stays on line with two techs in the switch on a comm PORT with procomm, mermail is a procomm app and one part time tech on a vtty..tech comes in on a seb and i perfer to dial in on the core from home, procomm is very flexible. someone on here had to go to 7 space and one to get on the other day, rare but i think it has to do with the comm port set uo in reg edit on your pc. i do know there is very little about this box that is carved in stone.
