Procomm Error 1

My hunch is that the system you are downloading from support only checksum Xmodem while Procomm first uses CRC Xmodem then falls back to checksum if it does not receive the correct initialization packets (CRC and checksum are just two different ways to do an error check on a packet). Does the transfer start shortly after you see the error message (you may receive it up to three times before the transfer begins)?
