Hi guys, could you please advise me which processor will give me better performance, high speed.

I. Intel PENTIUM IV 541, 775-LGA, 3.2 GHz, 1Mb, 800MHz,
or
II. Intel PENTIUM IV 630, 775-LGA, 3.0 GHz, 2Mb, 800MHz,

It can depend on what you are doing with the computer, but I suspect the 630 with 2MB cache will perform better.

I don't use 3D programs like 3DMax. Mainly i develop programms using, VS 2005, VS 6.0, SQL Server 2005 Express.
Sometimes i play DOOM 3.
Thanks for you reply.

here even a Celeron would do fine...

Sometimes i play DOOM 3.
Here I would go with the PIV D630 (due to the 2mb cache)...
and round it up with a good GFX Card...

Would have to agree with the heat issue's
the 630 is a revised version addressing
this problem
