Is there any way to tell the differences and thus differences in compatibility between two motherboards with different versions.

For example - MS-7577 v. 2.1 vs. v. 4.1

If you need to replace an old board, you sometimes can't get the exact version match even on Ebay. So, how to know what the version differences might mean in terms of compatibility.

Oops - yeah I meant honest face - :~/ So much for spell checkers. LOL

Well, I thought I was paranoid! You have a valid point though. Especially re tax records etc. Public liability insurance is intended to give both you and the customer peace of mind. I would hate to drop an expensive piece of kit!

Just like you give all your info to your accountant and trust them I hope and trust my customers to trust me. How long would I be in business if I went snooping? IMHO nothing good ever comes of snooping into another persons business. I have better things to do with my time.

Strangely I fins I am shocked at the thought. Weird - I thought nothing shocked me any more - oh well.

Glad that you're so non-snoopy. But if you WERE to be snoopy, don't post anything you find on the internet.

I swear I read something one time like this: Somebody serviced someone's PC or else STOLE IT (I can't remember which) and then posted pictures from the computer. But then the owner (or owner's friends) saw some of them online and they tracked the poster down.

Hilarious, yet stupid. No, it wasn't me.
