Hi all,

How would you go about getting the processor speed from Windows?? I understand that you can get it from DOS, but if there is any simple way to get the processor speed from Windows, that'd be great!

Thanks in advance

Go to Start, Run, type WINREP, then pull down Options, choose Collected Information, and you will see COMPSPEED which is your MHZ.

I'll second that! Never knew Winrep had that info. Thanks!

I get an error when I try it:

The instruction at "0x006f0043" referenced memory at "0x006f0043". The memory could not be "read".

Using a Dell Inspiron 8000 1ghz with 256mb RAM and Win2000 professional.
