Procedure to install DBI, DBD

Hi,

I have installed perl v5.6.1 in windows NT 4.0 machine. Now I want to write some scripts to access a database.

Could anybody please let me the following:
1. The exact procedure to do so. (both DBI and DBD included). I want to access Oracle 8.1.7 database.
2. The URL from where I can get the ppd files.

Hello.
Try next steps:
1) at the command prompt type ppm.bat,
the indicator changes to ppm>
2) Connect to Internet
3) Type "install DBI" without ". This installs DBI package
(about 250Kb)
3) I don't know, how to install the Oracle driver. Using MySQL - "install DBD:Mysql", may be "install::Oracle".

4) type "Quit".
5) That's all.

Thanks for the reply.
I did manage to install DBI the same way as you have mentioned.

For DBD Install, its the same way
install DBD::Oracle
