Problems with Xerox WorkCentre Pro C55 - Please HELP!

Hi!

We deployed these new Xerox multifunction machines to our customers but unofortunately Windows 2000 Professional users are experience delay while opening properties page of the printer or to send print-outs. It takes 20 seconds every single time.

This affects two different computers which are:

1. Windows Updated;
2. Spyware free (Ad-aware);
3. Virus free (McAfee with an update engine and signature);
4. Drivers are the most recent ones, downloaded from Xerox support web site;
5. Office 2003, Adobe reader 7, Winzip 8, are the only software installed.

Any idea. PLEASE HELP, we are desperate and we would like to avoid re-installation of the machines becuase of that.

Is it being used locally or over a network. A slow or bottlenecked connection may be at fault.
 
In the printer driver "configuration" tab, select "Bi-Directional Setup" and enter the copier's IP address. Alternately, just uncheck the "Enable Bi-Directional Communication" checkbox.

Does this fix your problem?
