I have set up a home network. I have a Win2k Server & Win2k client connected through a hub. I am having a problem with the Win2k client joining the domain. The error says something as if it might be a dns problem. The client is pulling an ip address using DHCP. They can ping each other & when using nslookup, they can see each other; however the client pc displays a message that the domain is non-existent. Can some one please help me.

I hate to ask but do have Active Directory running on your server. If so are you sure it is set up properly.

try a fully qualified domain name when joining a domain, instead of just typing "domain" into the domain box, try "domain.internal" (internal should be replaced with your domain name you set up)
