Problems with synchronize Time ¨NTP¨.

Logger version 8.9.

System contents (CLS,Screen,Web and Storage)

Recorder loses time all month.

Some solution?

Sorry by errors of writing.
 
On one of the NTP clients go to a command prompt and type

net time /querysntp

This will let you know if the clients can talk to the NTP server. If not then I would suggest you make sure the registry paramaters for the server have ben set up correctly. I take it the CLS is running 2003 server?
 
net time /queryntp > connection o.k. with the CLS

Recorders W 2000 and W2003, CLS W2003

When this occurs problem, always I find characters strange in the down the key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Services > W32Time > Parameters > NTPServer = ip,0x1

After it clear the key and perform the stop and start of the service the synchronize returns.

Ensure your master is not time synching itself or it will lose time.

Call Focus has a known issue where it loses time, there is a hotfix available (possibly a sp now).
