Problems with Paint Shop Pro 9 and WinXP SP 2 1

When I try to install the Paint Shop Pro 9 (I baught it! in a box) on WindowsXP SP2, before ending the installation the system sends a error message; and the message is:

Error 1904. Module E:\Program Files\Common Files\Jasc Software Inc\JascThumbShellExt\JascThumbShellExt.dll failled to register. HRESULT -1073741676.

As a pratical result: the installation process aborts.

I ask for help! Could I have help from somebody?
