I need some help.
We upgrade Legato Server (on a sparc -ultra 5) from 5.5.1 version to 6.1.1 version and then we upgrade all Networker client to 6.1.1 (OS sunOS 5.7).
On some HP client (HP-ux 11.00 Oracle 8.1.6 64 bit)we had LSM 5.5 to manage backup with Recovery Manager; we remove the software and we install client 6.1.1 and Legato Business Suite Module for Oracle 3.1 but when we try to backup the DB with Recovery Manager we get the following error:

RMAN-03007: retryable error occurred during execution of command: backup
RMAN-07004: unhandled exception during command execution on channel t1
RMAN-10035: exception raised in RPC: ORA-19506: failed to create sequential file, name="DBUNO_DBUNO1ddi9q5l_1_1", parms=""
ORA-27028: skgfqcre: sbtbackup returned error
ORA-19511: Sbtopen: unable to start save session with server
sparcleg : The feature "NetWorker Module for Oracle/1"
is not properly enabled.
RMAN-10031: ORA-19624 occurred during call to DBMS_BACKUP_RESTORE.BACKUPPIECECREATE
Recovery Manager complete.

I suppose that enabler code for NetWorker Module for Oracle/1 is not the same of previous version of LSM and perhaps we need a new enabler code. I'm right on this?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help. We're in a big trouble.

Hi !

Yes, Licensing is different on NetWorker 6. You need a valid enabler code for Oracle module.

Test it using a temporary enabler code.

I'll let you know.

Thanks! It was really a license problem. Using a temporary enabler code fix the problem.

Thanks a lot.
