I recently was asked to hookup a valcom digital messaging system to my switch. We were using Muzak but to keep costs down we switched to the valcom. Now that I have swapped it out not all calls are getting the music on hold. Some incoming calls and some internal calls. When dialing my acod I'm getting a fast busy and I should be hearing music. This is really frustrating. Please help

Thanks Ricky. How could I achieve this? I'm sorry as I never added a trunk to a network group before. Thanks

does anyone know what Ricky says to be true? you need music trunks in every network group

RickyPone is correct, but didn't you have that before? I thought you just changed out the music source and that was it????????????????

What you have posted shows no music trunks in network group zero. You need to find an unequipped trunk in any superloop 0-31 and build a new trunk there. Wire it in with the rest of your trunks and you should be good to go.

I did. In desperation I have outed and rebuilt new route and a new trunk. Made the bdct no on the new trunk and now i can dial the acod but no music just dead air. have a simple cross connect from device to the trunk. Took all other music trunks out of the equation. Starting to feel really dumb you guys. Thank you all for your help
