Hi, ensure that you have correct host headers in your iis configuration or distinct IP address for each site, or different ports for each sites. I think you have a conflict at that level.

Hope this helps. Please let know if this resolve your issue

Open internet service manager, right-click on your websites, select properties and check the web site tab: you have the IP address, the port. Click on advanced to see the host headers.

Each site must have at least one unique property (either the IP, the port or the host header) in order to distinguish it from the others

Hope this helps. Please let know if this resolve your issue

Hi Jeff,

where do I locate internet service manager?

Thanks

Charlotte

Windows 2000 should have them under Start>Administrative Tools>Internet Service Manager or Start>Settings>Control Panels>Administrative Tools>Internet Service Manager

I would suggest making a shortcut (right click on it's icon, pull to 'Send to...' and select 'Desktop [create shortcut]') to this on your desktop for easy access.

When you have this open, you may need to adjust some of the other settings to get ASP files to display. Get the properties for your Default Web Site. Click the 'Home Directory' tab. Here the local path should be 'c:\websites' or click browse to adjust it. Also, check 'Script Source Access' to help allow ASP scripts. Click Apply and then click 'Documents' tab. Make sure that default.asp is located somewhere in the list. If it isn't, add it. Also, the position it holds toward the top assigns it's priority. If index.htm is located at the top of the list, a file with the name of index.htm would be read and parsed instead of default.asp if the two files are in the same directory.

Let me know how that goes.
Also, anyone else helping out on this problem, I need assistance with something of a similar problem: I have IIS on win2k Pro on a WAN IP, and an exchange server and IIS on Win2k server on a LAN IP, and I want to serve the Outlook Web Access through the WAN IP of the Win2k Pro machine. I don't know if this can be done. Any help would be good.
