Problems with mail attachments -

I've reinstalled Norton Internet Security 2004 due to windows problems. Now the problem is that each mail attachment (*.jpg, *.ppt, ...) is marked as deleted and I cannot open the attachment. It's also impossible to add an attachment to a new mail. I can see the attachment (the icon is brighter than ususal) but I cannot open it.
What's the problem and how shall I configure Norton Internet Security?
