i have win2k pro and have recently formatted my computer. I have installed Internet explorer 5.5 and then upgraded to 6.0.28. most pages I view in intenret explorer I have the error on page little yellow triangle icon with an exclamation point in the lower left hand corner on the status bar and some pages do not load correctly. For example when I try to sell something on ebay and sleect the cattegory my itejm is in i cant. I see the options for the category but they ar egreyed out.

another example is if you go to retail websites that have online chats built into the site whatever I type in the message box and then hit send it does not appear in the chat window for the other person to see

and the last example is on these forums when I go into my user cp and try to add a signature and hit the "insert a hyperlink" button when i click on it the button does NOT indent like its being pressed and nothing happens I can use any of the buttons in thsoe toolbars. anyone know what is wrong with the browser? I have uninstalled IE from my computer through add remove programs-add/remove windows components and reinstall IE 6 and it did not help

no it didnt work. I instlaled and ran it then restarted but the same thing

anyone other ideas or anyone else. while im typinf this message right now I have that little yellow triangle with the exclamation point in the lower left hand corner of the status bar and it it says done but with errors on page and when I click on it to view details this is what it says

line: 2
Char: 1
Error: 'undefined' is undefined
Code: 0
URL:
it has this for ever page but the error is different sometimes it says

Expected '}'

and the URL is the URL of whatever page im on. Thanks in advance

Have you checked the IE properties under the advanced tab? you should be able to turn off Script Debugging (IE) Script Debugging (other) Not sure but it is worth a try.

Any add-ons installed to the browser like Google toolbar? If so does uninstalling these help? Installed all latest Windows updates?
