Hi all!

We have two domino domains, one for our local network and other one for the Internet mail. The DMZ Notes domain pass the mail to the internal domain and vice-versa. They are connected through a firewall. We have a strange problem. Router task seems to be working, but after some time working fine, mails enqueue on mail.box (on the DMZ) without being released from outside to inside. If we connect directly both domains, mails are released immediately. Firewall seems to be correctly configured, because until the problem appairs, all works fine.

Any idea for helping us?

Thanks a lot.

Maria.

Do you have a connection document from the DMZ server to the inside server?

PD

No I don't have a connection document from the DMZ to the inside (and not from inside to the DMZ)

Are you scanning for viruses on the server in the DMZ? I have seen this choke the router and cause massive back ups.
One other thing to try next time before rebooting is to stop the router task, compact the mail.box file and then load the router again:

Tell router quit
(wait until router shutdown is complete...)
Lo compact mail.box
(wait until compaction is complete...)
Lo Router
