Hi All,
I've got a problem with my sony pcg srx7 laptop after upgrading from XP HE to XP Pro. My modem doesn't dial the number moreover nothing is happend in the phone line and even there are no tone in the speakers.
I've tried a lot of drivers, from conexant.com and from sony.jp, some made my system unstable, some crashed with BSOD.

Here is system information about my modem:

Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

Two suggestions: go into control panel and bring up modems, look and see if more than one modem is listed- delete those that do not seem correct. Also you can go into the system panel device manager and look at modems and other devices, delete those that do not seem correct. Or you can delete all found and then have Windows do a new hardware search and install. But, it looks like the modem is responding in reference to your boot list. The problem could be the software related to your Internet access, you may have to re-install the IP software, and reset modem types and dial preferences.

This is an Intel modem, not a Rockwell.
