hi, i have a problem with an ipo500 v2, release 10.0.0.1. When a call comes in with the customer, he picks up the call with the code * 30, but ensures that the call is cut off, and if he manages to pick it up, it is cut anyway. Any ideas? thanks

Eeeh,

How does the call enters the IPO. Of course via an ICR, but where is the call routed to?

*30 is a call pickup. So meant to pickup a call that is not on your extension.

Thanks okkie26

Calls come in to the ipo500 through analog trunks, and these calls are handled by a human receptionist. The problem occurs when she is elsewhere, and when a call comes in, she captures it with * 30, but says that the call is cut. Any other ideas, thanks

How many analogue lines
Is the call issue on the same line every time.
Does it happen on the other lines

Does this issue occur when the receptionist answers it with the reception phone.

Test each line individually and see if the issue is on a particular line.
Could be a telco issue

Make a call in and answer with *30
If the call is ok then put it on hold

Make another call in and answer it with *30
If the call is ok then put it on hold

Do the same with each other line until all lines are tested

Thanks snowman50 for the help, they are three analog lines. I will test your suggestions tomorrow when I visit the client. I will report the result,
