Hi,

I am trying to import dbase files into SQL server tables.I am able to import only those dbase files with out any null values in the columns. Import fails when there is a column with null values.I want to import these dbase files also into SQL. Is there any option to set up ?

Thanks
jessy

Could we get some more information about how you tried to import the files?

Hi,

I tried by two ways

1: (a)Right click table->selecting DTs import export wizard
(b) source of import selected as dbase 5,selected the dbase file
(c)destination one table in sql server with same fields

getting the error
"Microsoft jet database engine external table is not in expected format. Context: Error calling open rowset on the provider"

But i am able to import all dbase files with out null value.

I am not able to see any option to attach files in this otherwise i would have given one simple dbase file with null col and same sql script for that table.

Pls give me a suggestion regarding this.I need to schedule a dts which is based on this

Thanks
Jessy
