Problems when installing new NIC

When I installed my new NIC the directions said to goto control panel and select performance & maintenance to config the new card. I don't have an icon named performance & maintenance. What now? I'm running XP Pro

Control Panel, System, Advanced, or Hardware.

Control Panel, System, Network Adapters, Right-click, Properties.
