We're upgrading from v5 to v7. We got Actuate erdpro Designer version 7 sp 2. We recompiled all of our reports and they run okay locally. However, when we upload them to the Actuate 7.0 server and attempt to execute them (all necessary permissions have been assigned) we get the following error message:

Could not load basic executable:
e:\Program Files\Actuate7\Server\operation\afc70F040124.rox

That file (afc70F040124.rox) is not found in that directory.

In our Actuate development environment (7 sp2) we found a file with the name afc70F040124.rox. We moved it to the directory on the actuate server (see above for location). Now, we are getting a different error when we try to run the reports:

Status No: 1
Basic Error: 38
Module: db.bas
Line: 284 Invalid external statement arguments.

Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I think the server also needs to be upgraded to SP 2.
If possible try developing a test report using Actuate ver7 with out service pack 2. This report should run fine with ver. 7 Server.
