Problems starting an e*Way

I have a file e*Way that picks up a data file then through a collaboration rule maps the data from the input message (a HL7 ADT^A04 message) to a custom message:

<first name>|<middle name>|<surname>

The IQ Manager starts correctly as does the output file e*Way
but the inbound file e*Way starts up then imediately shuts down.

What is going wrong and what do I need to do to resolve it?

Turn the logging up for the Eway, and then look at the log. It should give you a little hint as to what is causing the problem.

My initial guess would be that the inbound polling directory or file name is not correct. Did you turn the logging on? What was the output?

Check your pubs and subs, it could be they are not setup correctly or one is missing.
