Hi guys i have setup a squid proxy server using fedora. I have reconfigured the squid.config appropriately and squid is running. the problem is that it cannot resolve urls something to do with the DNS. the resolve.config has my dns addressed in it. what could the problem be because i have another linux squid proxy running well on redhat 9. i have even tried using the running one ip addresses on the fedora one but still not resolving URLs.i cant ping the ip of the dns given by the isp
yet my other proxy can. What is the remedy to my migraine

i figured it out. I hadn't added my default gateway to the router iptables so it could not forward my requests to the dns which is on a different network with a different subnet. Thanks for bearing with me.
